Scottish Slate Roofers uses limited website measurement to understand whether roofing enquiries result from our Google Ads activity and to help us assess whether our marketing is effective.

Your choice

Non-essential Google measurement storage is set to denied by default. We do not show an automatic cookie pop-up. If you want to allow or refuse optional measurement explicitly, use the controls below at any time.

Google Consent Mode

We use Google Consent Mode. Until you accept measurement, the consent signals for advertising storage, analytics storage, advertising user data and advertising personalisation are set to denied. If you accept measurement, advertising storage, analytics storage and advertising user-data measurement are enabled; advertising personalisation remains denied.

When consent is denied, the Google tag may send limited cookieless measurement signals. These are controlled by Google Consent Mode and are intended to support aggregated conversion measurement without using advertising cookies.

What is stored on your device

We store your consent preference in your browser's local storage under the key ssrConsentV1 so the site can remember your choice. If you clear your browser storage, the preference returns to the default setting of measurement denied.

Google Ads conversion measurement

After a genuine roofing enquiry form submission, the thank-you page can send a Google Ads conversion event. The event is only triggered following a recent form submission in the same browser session, which helps reduce false conversions from direct visits or page refreshes. Google handles that event according to the consent choice you have made.

Hosting and essential technical data

Our hosting and infrastructure providers may process technical information needed to deliver, secure and operate the website, such as IP addresses, request data and server logs. These functions are separate from the optional Google Ads measurement choice above.
